FRED MARGULIES AWARD
At the 10th anniversary meeting of the IFAC Advisory Board Austria (IFAC Beirat Österreich) the Fred Margulies Award was established. The award consists of a certificate as well as a sum of € 5.000,--. The award is given for outstanding Austrian scientific work in the field of automation, with special emphasis on social aspects. Criteria for selection concern primarily innovation, scientific content, economic and social relevance and interdisciplinarity. The submitted proposals are screened by a prominent international jury.
